Aqua is the one color that you can find year round in my home so I decided to add some to the tree too. While I wanted our farmhouse Christmas tree to reflect nature inspired whites and metallics, I also thought it needed a small pop of color. The pop of white from the owls and fluffy feather ornaments make it feel cozy. There were elements about that tree that I loved and decided to incorporate them into this year’s tree as well. Last year I created a Winter Woodland Christmas tree that featured lots white, owls and rustic ornaments. Plus, I liked the fact that it was different from the typical Christmas gold you see everywhere this time of year. While copper was my main color, I also wanted to incorporate other metallics to really make it pop. I loved the deep hue and it reminded me of something you might find in the forest. The giant copper magnolia blooms were what inspired this year’s color scheme. I loved all of the metallic Christmas ornaments and decorations at Michaels this year, and they provided the perfect inspiration for my tree. I knew I wanted my tree to reflect our new style, and I wanted it to have a touch of glam.
